health issues

To comply with Cattery Boarding licensing law, we require your cat(s) to have the standard vaccination for Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis. Please don't forget to bring you card with you on the day of check in.
To safeguard the health of all our boarders all cats will be examined on arrival and we reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness pending advice from our vets.

To help alleviate stress you may bring your cats own bed or a blanket or something similar which belongs to your cat. It will have their scent on it. The item is placed in their room and helps to relax them. It acts as a comforter. Don't be embarrassed if the item is an unusual one. We have seen dressing gowns, duvets, socks, trainers, jumpers etc.

Please ensure that your cat's flea treatments and worming treatments are up to date prior to admission. Should any flea or worming treatments be necessary during your cat's stay, the cost of medication will be charged accordingly.
cats on medication

Whilst we will not accept any cats with infectious of contagious disease, we are happy to accept cats on medication. We have a good working relationship with all the local veterinary practices and have 24 hour veterinary cover available. We are always happy to discuss your requirements and help if we can.

A high class variety of wet meats, dry biscuits, and treats are stocked at Kittochside cattery. Whatever your cat desires, we can serve. Anything unusual, we are happy to obtain. Favourites appear to be wet meat pouches in jelly and gravy, the best biscuits such as James Welbeloved, Iams and Hills Science. Proper cat milk, water – either tap or bottled, . Our TREATS  tempts your cats appetite with roast chicken, steak in gravy, prawns, cheese, cod, tuna, salmon, sardines, honey roast ham, pilchards, corned beef. Treats are served every day.

If the dietary requirements of your cat are on prescription – you must provide the food as we won't be allowed to obtain it on your behalf. Meals are served twice a day to your requirements. Additional attention is given to elderly cats, kittens and those with special needs. No reduction is made where a customer provides their own food.
